Zenone is a young man who lives during the XVI Century. He's a doctor, an alchemist, a philosopher, a theologist who takes the chance of travel and move between the Europe and the East. During his peregrinations he meets all kind of characters and political situations: reading this novel is like looking at a painting by Bruegel or Bosch. The transformation of the way of thinking which happened between the Middle Age and the Renaissance is represent by the figure of Zenone through a unique and a rare symbolic way of description.
